Amie L. Nisler

Amie L. Nisler, MPH, currently serves as the Principal Communications Strategist at Bixal since August 2020, and has previously held a senior communications strategy consultant role at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Prior experience includes significant positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from September 2010 to August 2020, encompassing roles as Principal Digital Content Manager and Senior Health Communication Specialist. Early career experiences include working as a Surveillance Epidemiologist and Guest Researcher in the Enteric Diseases Epidemiology Branch, and roles at Emory University as an Evaluation Specialist and Graduate Research Assistant. Additional experience includes an internship at Planned Parenthood Golden Gate and a position as an HIV/AIDS Education Intern with the Western Cape Education Department. Amie L. Nisler holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Minnesota.
