Aras Eftekhari

Aras Eftekhari has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Aras is currently serving as the Senior Director, Health Capture at Bixal since April 2023. Their role involves capturing new business opportunities in the healthcare sector.

Prior to this, Aras worked as an Adjunct Professor at Northern Virginia Community College starting from September 2014.

Aras has also held leadership positions in renowned organizations such as Guidehouse, DMS (a BRMi company), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Attain LLC, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and BearingPoint. In these roles, they were responsible for various responsibilities such as strategic consulting, business development, program management, client delivery, analytics, and marketing.

Aras Eftekhari completed a Certificate in Health Informatics and Data Analytics from George Mason University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University in 2013-2014. Aras Eftekhari also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they earned from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems Management from Southeastern University (Washington, D.C.) between 2007 and 2009.

Aras Eftekhari has obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Lean Six Sigma Institute in 2023, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2019, ITIL Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in May 2018, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in July 2011.
