Zexi Ye

Zexi Ye has a diverse range of work experience. They started as a Research Intern at The Paulson Institute in 2016, then worked as a Data Analytics Intern at TESLA, Inc. in 2017. In 2018, Zexi served as a Machine Learning Intern at Black Sesame Technologies Inc. Following this, they worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Kepos Capital, L.P. from May to October 2019. In the same year, Zexi also completed a Capstone Project at NYU Stern School of Business in partnership with Tripadvisor. The project involved creating a Point-of-Interest review text classification model using supervised and self-supervised learning methods. Zexi then joined NYU Stern School of Business as a ML Research Assistant with Alibaba Group from September 2019 to January 2020. Finally, Zexi returned to Black Sesame Technologies Inc. and held the positions of Software Engineer, ML from July 2020 to January 2021, and Senior Software Engineer, ML from January 2021 to the present.

Zexi Ye completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from New York University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Zexi Ye earned a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Mathematics and Economics from the University of Virginia from 2014 to 2018. In 2019 to 2020, Zexi Ye pursued further education in the field of Computer Vision by completing a Computer Vision Nanodegree program at Udacity.

Additionally, Zexi Ye obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In December 2020, Zexi Ye completed the Tableau 2020 Certified Associate Course at Udemy. In January 2019, they obtained a certification in Time Series Analysis from Coursera. In February 2020, Zexi Ye completed the Google Analytics for Beginners course offered by Google.
