Alyssa Fatal

Alyssa Fatal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Tour Guide at Swarthmore College Admissions Office until 2011. In 2012, they served as a Medical Billing Assistant at Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center and later as a Field Organizer at Organizing for America Florida. In 2013, Alyssa worked as a Regional Field Organizer at Miami First and then became a Literacy Tutor at City Year. At City Year, they implemented literacy-based interventions, facilitated student-centered lessons, and organized family engagement events.

In 2014, Alyssa was a Programs Administrative Assistant at the Urban League of Broward County. Alyssa then joined Rhode Island Kids Count as a Policy Intern in 2017. That same year, they became a Graduate Student at Brown University and also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a brief period. In 2018, Alyssa started working at Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy, initially as a Human Capital Associate and then as an Associate Director of Human Capital. Their most recent position with the company is the Director of Human Capital and DEI, which began in August 2021.

Alyssa Fatal obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Latin American Studies from Swarthmore College, where they attended from 2008 to 2015. Alyssa later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Urban Education Policy at Brown University, which they completed between the years 2017 and 2018. In addition, Alyssa has also studied educational studies, media, history, and Spanish language at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín, although the specific duration of this education is unknown.
