Marilena Eatman

Marilena Eatman, CAMS, is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in building and managing policy frameworks for global financial institutions. Currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Compliance Policies for the Americas at SMBC Group since May 2021, Marilena has previously held notable positions such as Compliance Risk Manager for Enterprise Policy Governance at USAA and Head of Policies, Procedures, and Training at Morgan Stanley. Marilena's experience also includes a role in Policy Development and Governance at JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Sterling National Bank. In addition to these executive-level roles, Marilena is recognized as the founder and principal owner of a policies consulting firm. Marilena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands.
