Maureen Payton

Maureen Payton is currently serving as the Global Inclusion & Diversity Lead Business Partner in Engineering at Block since February 2024, previously holding the role of Inclusion & Diversity Business Partner Lead at Cash App from July 2022 to April 2024. Maureen has extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, having worked at JLL in various leadership roles, including DEI Engagement & Partnership Manager and Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Program Management from February 2016 to July 2022. Earlier career positions include Operations Manager at Yahoo! Inc. and Executive Assistant/Office Manager at AOL, alongside roles in claims representation at Agency Insurance Company of Maryland and Progressive Insurance. Maureen holds a Master's degree in Management with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Maryland.
