Elson Seiki has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Elson started their career as an Automation Engineer at Hitachi Metals in 1992. Elson then joined Seagate Technology in 1995 as a Director and worked there until 2000, holding leadership positions in Equipment Engineering and Maintenance. After that, they moved to JDSU in 2000 as the Director of Equipment Engineering and Maintenance. In 2002, Elson joined Seagate Technology again, this time as an Executive Director of Equipment Engineering. Elson held this position until 2009 when they transitioned to Bloom Energy as the Senior Director of Equipment Engineering. At Bloom Energy, they played a crucial role in managing the Equipment Engineering Department and subsequently became the VP of Manufacturing Engineering in 2018. During their tenure at Bloom Energy, Elson led a team that improved yield to 95% and reduced costs by 15% while creating a new automated manufacturing line with 100% inspection systems.

Elson Seiki completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1984. Elson then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, from 1985 to 1987.
