Tamara Wittrock

Tamara Wittrock, MPH, LICSW has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and mental health field. Tamara currently works as a Clinical Lead for Medicaid Programs at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, where they are responsible for leading clinical initiatives. Prior to this, Tamara worked as a Clinical Therapist at Vibrant Life Therapy Clinic, providing therapy and support to individuals. Tamara also served as an Adult Mental Health Contract Analyst at Hennepin County, where they analyzed contracts related to mental health services. Tamara has extensive experience as a Clinical Therapist, having worked at Rainbow Health, where they advocated for health needs and collaborated with other agencies. Tamara also has policy analysis experience from their time as a Policy Analyst at the State of Minnesota. Earlier in their career, Tamara held managerial roles at Options Family & Behavior Services and Volunteers of America of Minnesota. Tamara started their career as a Utilization Review Coordinator Assistant at Health Partners Plans. Tamara holds an MPH degree and is licensed as a LICSW.

Tamara Wittrock, MPH, LICSW has a strong educational background in social work and public health. Tamara obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Health/Health Management at Capella University from 2011 to 2016. Tamara completed their undergraduate studies at Augsburg University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Tamara has acquired the Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification from the MN Board of Social Work in October 2022, further demonstrating their expertise in the field.
