George Sealy

George Sealy has extensive work experience in the field of iOS engineering and software development. George has worked in various roles and companies, contributing to the development of innovative applications and platforms.

In 2008, George started their career as a Software Developer at TracPlus, where they worked until 2009. George then joined Igtimi Ltd as a Senior Software Developer/Architect, focusing on the development of an infrastructure for timely and reliable delivery of tracking data from embedded devices. George worked on front-end applications in C for embedded platforms and back-end services in C#.

In 2009, George also worked as a Director at Acorn Heroes, an independent iPhone developer, where they gained experience in developing games and useful utilities for the iOS platform. George later joined the University of Otago as a Professional Practice Fellow, teaching a summer school course in Game Design.

From 2012 to 2014, George was the Founder/Director of Greengage, and simultaneously worked as a Producer at NHNZ, where they led a small team in creating the ZooMoo app for iOS and Android using Cocos2d-x.

Following their undergraduate degree, George Sealy enrolled in the University of Otago in 1994 to further their education in Computer Science. George dedicated three years to pursuing a PhD, which they successfully completed in 1997.
