Sameer Dronamraju

Sameer Dronamraju has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and engineering. Sameer started their career as a QA Analyst at Verizon in 2003 and then worked as a QC Analyst at AT&T from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, Sameer joined Visage Mobile, Inc. as a Sr. QA Engineer, where they supported the QA function in automation, regression, and functional testing.

Sameer moved to Google, Inc. in 2007 as an Automation Engineer (Consultant) for a brief period before joining Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, later that year. At Aruba, they served as a QA Engineer for the AirWave Division from 2007 to 2010, where they played a crucial role in setting up an on-prem lab and expanding the India team. Sameer then became a Sr. Engineer / QA Lead from 2010 to 2013, leading important initiatives and assisting in hiring exceptional engineers. From 2013 to 2016, Sameer worked as a QA Manager at Aruba, and from 2016 to 2017, they served as a Staff QA Engineer / Architect.

In 2017, Sameer joined BlueJeans by Verizon as an Engineering Manager, focusing on the Meetings platform and establishing KPIs. Sameer later became the Senior Manager, QA in 2019, leading multiple charters, including Performance and Chaos Engineering, System Test, and the Analytics platform for the BlueJeans product suite. Sameer also introduced and developed Chaos engineering tests, mentored and managed a talented team of SDETs and QEs, and drove teamwork in developing custom tools and frameworks.

Throughout their career, Sameer has showcased their expertise in quality assurance and engineering, demonstrating leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to drive successful outcomes.

Sameer Dronamraju obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2000. Sameer then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota Mines, which they completed in 2003. In 2021, Sameer enrolled at the Indian School of Business to study Product Management, a field of study they engaged with until 2022.
