Andy Boral

Andy Boral has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical field. Andy started their career at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1993 as a Resident in Internal Medicine. Andy then pursued further specialization in medical oncology and worked as a Fellow at Dana-Farber, Partners CancerCare from 1996 to 1998. After that, they joined Biogen as a Medical Director from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Andy Boral joined Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company as the Vice President of Clinical Research, a position they held until 2010. During this time, they contributed significantly to the organization's clinical research efforts.

Following their tenure at Millennium, Andy Boral joined Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research as the Executive Director of Oncology Translational Medicine. Andy remained with the company from 2010 to 2015 and played a crucial role in advancing oncology research and development.

In 2015, Andy Boral joined Blueprint Medicines, where they held multiple leadership positions. Andy first served as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development from 2015 to 2016, and then became the Chief Medical Officer from 2016 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President of Clinical Development.

Through their various roles, Andy Boral has demonstrated significant expertise and leadership in clinical research, translational medicine, and oncology. Their extensive experience allows him to make valuable contributions to the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

Andy Boral completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Wesleyan University from 1980 to 1984. Following this, they pursued an MD and PhD in Molecular Genetics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1984 to 1993.
