Elizabeth Baker

Elizabeth (Sira) Baker is a highly experienced research professional with a robust background in experimental biology and laboratory management. Currently serving as a Principal Research Associate at BlueRock Therapeutics since November 2019, Elizabeth has progressively advanced through roles including Senior Research Associate and Research Associate II. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where Elizabeth conducted a variety of experimental tests and performed mouse work, alongside responsibilities in data analysis and lab maintenance. Elizabeth's career also encompasses roles at New York Medical College, New York Reproductive Medical Services, Emergency Medical Associates, Pfizer, and Genetic Services, where valuable skills in laboratory techniques, patient care, and process documentation were developed. Elizabeth holds a Master of Science degree from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Health Science from Northeastern University.
