John Flanagan

John Flanagan is currently the VP of Operations at Blythedale Children's Hospital. John was previously the Director of Clinical Services at New York-Presbyterian Hospital from June 2012 to July 2018, where they oversaw 500 FTEs and a $90M budget across all service areas. John has also served as the Director of Operations at New York-Presbyterian Hospital from January 2006 to December 2012.

John has developed space strategies and capital projects for both hospitals, including an automated lab, inpatient unit, adult ED, adult CPEP, and GMP lab. John has also led all regulatory compliance and organizational readiness strategies and activities for both hospitals.

John is a preceptor for the summer intern program at Blythedale Children's Hospital.

John Flanagan has a Bachelor of Science from University of Notre Dame in Pre-med and Anthropology. John also has a Master of Public Administration from NYU-Wagner School of Public Service in Health Management. John is certified from the American College of Healthcare Executives in FACHE.

John Flanagan reports to Larry Levine, President & CEO. They are on a team with Cindy De Muro - Director, HR, Jill Wegener - SVP, Chief Nursing Officer & Patient Care Services, and Prad Ananthasingam - Director, Pharmacy.
