Dave Lester, PMP

Dave Lester, PMP has a solid background in project management and leadership roles. Dave most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at BNL, Inc. since 2012. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Principal Consultant at Applied Information Strategies from 2005 to 2013, where they provided subject matter expertise in digital transformation and service management. In addition, Dave held the position of Director of Programs at ManTech IS&T from 2003 to 2005, and Program Manager at Integrated Data Systems from 1998 to 2003. Dave began their career as a Commissioned Officer in the US Navy from 1987 to 1992. Dave also gained valuable experience as a Member of Technical Staff at TASC and Staff Systems Engineer - Project Lead at Lockheed Martin. Dave'sexpertise lies in PMO implementation, IT project management, enterprise architecture, and risk management.

Dave Lester, PMP has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University. Prior to obtaining their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering at the United States Naval Academy. In addition to their formal education, Dave has obtained various certifications, including the ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2020, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2012.
