Dave Berman

Dave Berman has a comprehensive background in engineering and leadership roles. Dave is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Bonterra, where they oversee the Fundraising and Engagement business line and leads innovative development teams. Prior to this, Dave held a similar position at EveryAction from 2014 to 2022. Dave also worked at NGP VAN as the Vice President of Engineering from 2019 to 2021 and as the Director of Engineering in their DC office from 2014 to 2019. Earlier in their career, Dave served as the Director of Engineering at Riverbed Technology and as the Associate Vice President at OPNET Technologies, Inc. Dave was instrumental in developing and managing the nCompass product, a real-time network performance monitoring solution. Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of success in driving growth and innovation.

Dave Berman earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2000. Dave then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed in 2000 as well. In terms of additional certifications, Dave obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in February 2015 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2024.
