Brian K S.

Brian K S. currently holds the position of The Honorable David S. Nelson Professorial Chair and Associate Dean for Research at Boston College, a role commenced in July 2020. Previously, Brian served as an Intermittent Expert at the National Science Foundation from February 2020 to February 2022, and as Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor at Drexel University from September 2013 to June 2020. Additional roles include Program Director at the NSF and Dean of Continuing Education at the Rhode Island School of Design. Brian's academic career also features an Associate Professorship at Penn State University and Assistant/Associate Professor positions at MIT's Media Laboratory. Brian earned a PhD in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University and holds a B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering from UCLA.
