Khine Thant

Khine Thant is an ESG Analyst at Boston Common Asset Management, contributing to the integrated ESG and investment team since July 2021. In this role, Khine analyzes portfolio and investment universe companies across various strategies, focusing on the Healthcare and Technology sectors as the lead ESG Analyst. Responsibilities include providing quantitative sector benchmarking and conducting top-down research, along with engaging with portfolio companies in relevant sectors. Previously, Khine served as an ESG Associate at Cartica Management, LLC, and held analytical and research positions at The Asia Group and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Khine's academic background includes a Master of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Correlate in Public Policy Economics from Vassar College, complemented by studies at Korea University and SOAS University of London.
