Sunil Chintalapati

Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Boston Geospatial

Sunil Chintalapati has extensive experience in research, product development, and entrepreneurship. Since 2006, they have held various positions at the Florida Institute of Technology, including Graduate Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. In 2015, they became the NSF I-Corps Entrepreneur Lead at the National Science Foundation. In 2016, they joined Analytical Space as the Director of Research & Development and Director of Terminal Systems, and later became the VP of Terminal Systems. In 2017, they became Chair of the AIAA Microgravity and Space Processes Technical Committee, and a Member of the AIAA Space Exploration Integration and Outreach Committee and the AIAA Microgravity and Space Processes Technical Committee. In 2019, they co-founded Boston Geospatial and became the Chief Product Officer.

Sunil Chintalapati has a comprehensive education history. Sunil earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2009. Sunil then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the same institution in 2012. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2018.
