Rich Monopoli has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Rich began their career as a Senior Staff Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc., where they worked from August 1995 to August 2000. Rich then joined Lehman Brothers as a Summer Associate in their NYSE block trading and Fixed Income divisions from June 2001 to August 2001. After that, they worked as a Vice President of Acquisitions at LaSalle Investment Management from September 2002 to August 2005. Currently, Rich is an Senior Vice President in Development at Boston Properties, where they have been since August 2005. In this role, they have been involved in land acquisitions/dispositions, complex deal structuring, and discretionary entitlement processes. Additionally, they have been responsible for negotiating anchor tenant leases and initiating new office, mixed-use, and life science development projects, amounting to over three million square feet of development.
Rich Monopoli has a diverse education history. Rich obtained an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned their M.S. in Structural Engineering from UC Irvine in 1993-1994 and their B.S. in Structural Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Rich Monopoli holds a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
