Neil Sauer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and architecture. Neil started their career in 1988 as a Designer at Norwood Oliver Design Associates and later worked as an Architect Intern at The FWA Group Architects in 1993. Neil then joined NJ Transit as a Project Manager/Construction Manager in 1994 before becoming an Architect at Sharpe Architecture of NC, PC in 1999. In 2002, they joined DLR Group as a Senior Architect and later moved to Clark Nexsen in 2004 as a Senior Associate, specializing in projects related to Higher Education, Stadium/Venue, Mixed-Use, and Recreation/Hospitality. In 2019, they became the Director of Operations - NC at RRMM Architects before joining Bostwick Design Partnership in 2020 as the Director of Design Operations, where they provide leadership and management for the company's healthcare, higher education, community college, and Department of Defense clients.

Neil Sauer attended Toms River HS North from 1982 to 1986. Neil then went on to enroll at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Architecture from 1986 to 1991.
