Kevin Henry

Kevin Henry has a long history of working in software engineering and computer science. Kevin began their career in 2000 as a Computer Programmer/Web Developer and Certified Academic Peer Tutor at BYU-Idaho, where they developed a Java Applet and maintained the Department of Computer Science's web site. In 2002, they became a Student Support Services Tutor at the University of Idaho. In 2003, they were hired as a Software Engineer (Undergraduate Fellow) at Idaho National Laboratory, where they created a Parallel Computing Architecture for Java. In 2005, they began working at Jacobs Technology as an Engineer II (Software), creating a Java High Performance Computing Framework and researching and administering a 32 node Beowulf Linux Cluster. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at US Army Aberdeen Test Center as a Computer Scientist, converting a Java High Performance Computing Framework and creating a business intelligence reporting framework. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have been employed as a Software Architect, Principal Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer at BountyJobs.

Kevin Henry has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Mathematics: Computing Option from the University of Idaho, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Computer Science from BYU Idaho between 2000 and 2002. Kevin has also obtained several certifications, including MongoDB for Java Developers and MongoDB for DBAs from MongoDB in 2013, Test & Evaluation Level 2 from the US Army Acquisition Corps in 2010, Security+ from CompTIA in 2008, CCNA from Cisco in 2008, and Master Tutor from the College Reading & Learning Association.
