Nef Diaz brings 10 years of international business development experience spanning public sector and private industry. Developing growth strategies, Nef identifies opportunities and develops systems needed to start and maintain a continuous growth trajectory for organizations. He has worked for the Government of Mexico and CEMEX (one of the largest private companies in Mexico), where he oversaw an engineering department collaborating with leaders in public and private organizations to develop complex infrastructure projects.

As an entrepreneur, he identifies opportunities through meticulous customer discovery and market analysis processes. Defining a clear value proposition and business model, Nef has brought new products and services to market.

Nef holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where he completed his eighth semester at the Université Paris-Est-Marne-la-Vallée, in Paris, France. He also holds a Master’s in Engineering (Land Routes Specialization), from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from EGADE Business School – Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, with a concentration in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He also completed the Strategy and Negotiation in Multicultural Environments program at the Renmin University of China, in Beijing. In addition to his native language, Spanish, he is fluent in English and French, and is currently improving his Mandarin skills.
