Ronald van Heek

Ronald van Heek has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on sales and business development. Ronald most recently served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at BPSOLUTIONS. MAKE DATA WORK since March 2019. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Founder of Proficiency NL from October 2017 to April 2019.

Ronald also spent a significant portion of their career at Tectrade, where they held the role of Chief Commercial Officer from August 2004 to September 2017. In this role, they played a vital role in transforming the business from a reseller to a Systems and Storage Integrator and a Managed Services and Cloud oriented company. Earlier in their career, Ronald held various roles at IBM Netherlands BV, including eServer Territory Manager from January 2000 to September 2004 and Senior Storage Sales from 2000 to 2002. Ronald also worked at Tech Data BeNeLux as a Partner Manager for IBM and at Bell Microproducts as a Partner Manager for IBM Storage.

Ronald van Heek completed their Bachelor's degree in Communications from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, attending from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Almere College Kampen from 1986 to 1993, where they completed their Havo degree in VWO.

In terms of additional certifications, Ronald obtained the Rubrik Ransomware Recovery Expert certification from Rubrik, Inc. in July 2022.
