Rory Starks

Rory Starks has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2004, Starks worked as an Artist at Battlement Studios before joining Synthetic Worlds Initiative in 2006 as a Lead Artist. Starks then transitioned to a role as an Interface Designer and Programmer at Synthetic Worlds Initiative in 2008. In 2009, Starks joined Playdom as a Senior UI Designer, where they were responsible for designing the user experience, creating UI art, and developing rapid prototypes for various Facebook games. Starks then joined Kiwi, Inc. in 2012 as the Director of User Experience, managing a team of UI designers and UI artists while also handling UI/UX responsibilities for multiple games. From 2015 to 2016, Starks worked as the Director of User Experience at SGN (Social Gaming Network). In 2016, Starks joined Kiwi, Inc. again, this time as the Director of UI/UX. Starks then worked as the Fitness Instructor at Transform Fitness Studio starting in 2017, before taking on the role of Design Director / Senior Product Manager of Platform at Brava Home Inc. later that year.

Rory Starks has a solid educational background with a Master of Science degree in Immersive Mediated Environments from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, Rory obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications - Design and Production from the same institution, Indiana University Bloomington, from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, Rory holds certifications as a Schwinn Cycling MPower Instructor from Schwinn Fitness, which was obtained in August 2018. They also have a certification in Lagree Fitness, however, the month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
