Remote Expat Tax Associate

Summary: Remote US Expat Tax Associate who is able to work closely with CPAs to assist from start to finish on their US tax projects.

Required skills:

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with expat tax preparation

Actively pursuing or licensed US CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent

BA in accounting

Proactive and self-motivated

Willingness to work as part of a team

Ability to follow production schedules and calendars

Experience with international forms such as Form 2555, Form 1116, Form 8833. Experience with Form 5471, Form 8865, Form 8858, Form 3520 & Form 8621 would make you a stand-out candidate.

Compensation: 

The Remote Expat Tax Associate compensation package is a salary + bonus model. The base salary is determined based on both the technical, leadership and client-facing experience level of candidates. What you can expect:

Associate 1: $16,000-$33,000

Associate 2: $19,000-$48,000

Regular compensation reviews based on performance.

Following the initial probationary period, a performance review will be conducted on a regular basis to assess performance to-date.
