Jeff Prancevic has worked in a variety of roles in the geology field. In 2008, they began their career as an Engineering Geologist Intern at Stoney-Miller Consultants, Inc. After that, they worked as a Watershed Science Intern at Sound Watershed in 2009. In 2010, they began working as a Post-Baccalaureate Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2016, they became an ETH Postdoctoral Fellow at ETH Zürich. In 2019, they took on the role of SNSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Mendenhall Fellow/Research Geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). In 2022, they began their current role as Geology Manager at Brimstone.
Jeff Prancevic attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Earth Science. From 2010 to 2016, they attended Caltech and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology/Earth Science.
