Jacob Edwards

Jacob Edwards is a Principal Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb since November 2019, with a history of progressive roles including Senior Scientist and Scientist I. Prior to this, Jacob worked as a Scientist I at Celgene and as a Graduate Student at The Scripps Research Institute, where Jacob obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota, as well as a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa. Jacob's research has focused on the synthesis of small molecules with anti-inflammatory and antitumor properties, alongside innovative studies in photochemical reactivity. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota.
