Vasilis Duros PhD MRSC

Vasilis Duros, PhD, MRSC has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Research and Development Chemist at Brite Solar. In 2020, they worked as an Inside Business Development at Hemmersbach and a Customer Service Representative at Cosmote e-Value. Vasilis also served as a Research Affiliate at the University of Patras and a Postdoctoral Research Associate on a research project titled "Molecular Inorganic and Hybrid Magnetic Materials with Implications in Quantum Technologies". From 2014 to 2019, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at the University of Glasgow, where they developed a novel approach for the exploration of the chemical space by using machine learning methods and human intuition.

Vasilis Duros, PhD, MRSC has a comprehensive education history. Vasilis obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Patras in 2011. Vasilis then went on to obtain their Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry and X-ray Crystallography from the same university in 2013. In 2018, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Polyoxometalate chemistry and machine learning from the University of Glasgow. Additionally, they obtained the Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry certification from the Royal Society of Chemistry in June 2021.
