Shaun Jepson

Shaun Jepson currently serves as the Head of Media Relations at British Airways since August 2023. Previous roles include Deputy Director and Head of News at the Cabinet Office, where responsibilities encompassed external affairs and acting as Press Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister. Shaun's experience extends to 10 Downing Street as Deputy Head of News and acting Deputy Official Spokesperson to the Prime Minister, as well as the UK Ministry of Defence as Deputy Head of Strategy (Communications). Notable earlier positions include Chief Press Officer for Prisons & Probation at the Ministry of Justice UK and Crime Correspondent roles at both Midland News Association and Derby Telegraph. Shaun began a media career as an Operational Press Officer for the Royal Navy and held a leadership position as Vice President of Communications at the University of Derby Students' Union. Shaun completed a degree at the University of Derby from 2002 to 2005.
