Tarek Boudour has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Tarek began their career as a Student Brand Manager for Get Real Marketing, where they focused on organizing and executing promotional campaigns on campus. Tarek then joined Toshiba Corporation as a Marketing Graduate, gradually moving up to roles such as Marketing Executive and Direct Marketing & Promotions Manager.

At Toshiba, Tarek's responsibilities expanded as they became a Consumer Marketing Manager, overseeing brand PR, social media, and retail communications. Tarek played a significant role in launching innovative products such as the world's first Glasses-Free 3D TV and implementing successful advertising and retail campaigns.

After their tenure at Toshiba, Tarek joined Centrica Hive Limited (Hive) as a Senior Marketing Manager and later became the Acquisition Marketing Lead. Tarek was responsible for leading marketing efforts, developing strategies, and managing agency relationships. Tarek also played a crucial role in delivering data-driven campaigns and establishing the Hive brand through innovative digital-first approaches.

Currently, Tarek works at British Gas as the Head of Marketing - Net Zero. Tarek leads the Net Zero marketing team and is responsible for reducing carbon emissions and lowering energy costs for consumers across the UK. Tarek owns the strategic marketing approach and oversees campaigns for products including Heat Pumps, Hive, Solar, and EV Charging. Additionally, they nurture marketing talent and cultivates a high-performance data-led culture.

Throughout their diverse career, Tarek has demonstrated skills in strategic marketing, campaign management, team leadership, and data analysis. Tarek'sexperience spans various industries, including energy, technology, and telecommunications.

Tarek Boudour completed their education with a BA Honours degree in Marketing from De Montfort University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Later, they pursued a CIM Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at Kingston University from 2003 to 2005.
