Teaching Artist at Brooklyn Academy Of Music

Mel House has had a diverse range of work experience in the entertainment and education fields. Mel began their career as an Actor at Meg Pantera Agency in 2013. In the same year, they also started working as a Teaching Artist at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Prior to that, Mel worked as a Teaching Artist at Theatre for a New Audience and Manhattan New Music Project, where they were involved in various projects and programs. In addition, Mel worked as a Producer & Actress at The Drawingboard Group, where they contributed to the development of scripts for stage and film. Mel has also worked as a Filmmaker at Heal the Hood and as a Teaching Artist at Young Audiences of New York and Hospital Audiences, Inc. Mel has also been involved in theater productions as an Actress, notably performing in Revelation Readings at Red Bull Theater Company. Throughout their career, Mel has demonstrated a passion for the arts and a commitment to education and community outreach.

Mel House earned a Master's degree in Applied Drama from the University of Exeter's School of Drama in the UK from 1998 to 2000.
