Neil Mehta is currently the President and Editor in Chief at The Brown Daily Herald, overseeing the publication's design division and editing and assigning stories for various beats. Additionally, Neil works as a Research Assistant at Brown University School of Public Health, a SHAPE Facilitator at Planned Parenthood, a Medical Assistant at Rhode Island Free Clinic, and a Co-Founder & Co-Director at The Copula Program. Neil also has experience in reporting on economics and equity at New York Public Radio and as a Federal Student Intern at The National Institutes of Health. With a background in Public Health and Statistics from Brown University, Neil has a diverse range of experiences in journalism, public health research, mentorship programs, and community outreach initiatives.
