Kristin Granlund

Kristin Granlund is an MRI Applications Scientist at Bruker BioSpin since February 2020, with prior experience as a Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2014 to January 2020, focusing on hyperpolarized MRI. Kristin obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2014, following a Master’s degree in the same field in 2007. Additional experience includes a doctoral candidacy at Stanford University, an internship at GE Healthcare, and research at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, where Kristin modeled a magnetic focusing circuit. Early career at Sandia National Laboratories involved testing electromechanical properties and developing a LabVIEW-driven controller. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
