Kevin Quist

Executive Vice President at BTQ Financial

Kevin Quist is a partner and co-founder of BTQ Financial, a national leader of financial and accounting outsourcing services for the nonprofit sector. As Executive Vice President, Kevin oversees client services and medical billing services and serves as the chief financial officer for BTQ.

Kevin provides a hands-on approach to all client engagements. He leads the implementation teams for new clients and provides client teams with on-going supervision and support. Working directly with nonprofit leadership, Kevin assists with the interpretation and presentation of financial results and forecasting to key stakeholders and funders. Kevin guides the strategic planning process and ensures that the strategic implications of financial planning are accessible and actionable.

Prior to founding BTQ Financial, Kevin was a senior consultant for ten years with BTQ’s predecessor organization Burchman Terrio Urban Consultants. Over the years, he has acquired extensive experience in program and facility development, and has served as project manager on numerous residential and health care facility development initiatives, including special needs housing, health clinics and adult day health care programs. Kevin is specialized in financial analysis, licensure procurement, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, staff training, and program design. Throughout his career, Kevin has also worked closely with government agencies and community-based organizations to develop and implement research and evaluation studies on topics such as special needs housing for homeless people and Medicaid managed care.

Kevin Quist received a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Studies from Cornell University and holds a Masters of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
