Bruce Hemingway has a long and varied work experience. Bruce began their career in 1994 as a Commercial Manager for BHP Billiton. Bruce then moved to Qantas in 1997 as a General Manager of IT Purchasing. In 2000, they became the Group Manager of Procurement and Supply Chain at Australia Post. In 2001, they joined IBM as a Business Unit Executive for A/NZ Telecommunications, and then as a Manager of Solutions and Architecture Comms Sector. In 2013, they became the Director of Consulting at Digital Frontier Partners. In 2014, they joined both Avanade and Huawei Technologies, where they held the roles of Accenture Partner Manager and Director of South Pacific Region Solutions Marketing (GM) respectively. In 2019, they became the Director of Business and Partner Development at 460degrees. Finally, in 2020 they became an Independent Consultant, and in 2021 they joined Buildxact as the Vice President Suppliers and Industry Partners and Senior Account Manager.

Bruce Hemingway completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Monash University, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management from Deakin University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Information Technology from Deakin University.
