Sophie Torr

Sophie Torr has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Sophie is currently working as a Community Director at Bumble Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, Sophie held the role of Campus Marketing Manager at Bumble, where they executed grassroots marketing campaigns and initiatives and drove brand awareness on campus. Sophie also worked as a Teacher Assistant at Texas Tech University and an Influencer Marketing Intern at LSG. Sophie gained experience as a Sales and Marketing Intern at The Optimus Consultant Group and as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University. Before venturing into these roles, they co-owned Card My Yard, a business they were involved in from July 2020 to August 2022. Sophie also worked as a Brand Ambassador at GreekedUp, where they generated sales through social media advertising and reached a wide audience. Sophie started their professional journey as a Hostess Server at LEGOLAND California Resort from March 2019 to March 2020.

In January 2023, Sophie completed the Human Subjects Biomedical Investigators certification from the CITI Program. In December 2022, they obtained the Social and Behavioral Responsible Scholarship Course certification, also from the CITI Program. Sophie obtained a Google Analytics Certification in October 2022 from Google. In October 2021, they received the Arthur W Page Society certification from The Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication.
