Brian Wielbik

Brian Wielbik has extensive experience in the banking industry. Brian currently holds the position of Vice President - Small Business Lender at Busey, a role they have held since November 2017. Prior to that, they worked at First Community Financial Bank for nearly ten years, serving as the Market President from June 2008 to November 2017. Before joining First Community Financial Bank, Brian held the position of Executive Vice President and COO at First Community Bank from April 2004 to June 2008. Brian also served as the Branch President at Bank One from 1998 to 2004 and as the Branch Manager at First Chicago Bank from 1995 to 1998. Brian began their banking career as a Commercial Loan Officer at AmeriFed Bank from 1987 to 1995. Prior to that, they worked as a Liquidation Specialist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) from 1985 to 1987.

Brian Wielbik completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance at Eastern Illinois University from 1980 to 1984. Later, from 1990 to 1995, they pursued an MBA in Finance and Marketing at Lewis University.
