Sara Maxwell

Sara Maxwell has a diverse range of work experience. Sara is currently working at Busey as an AVP Wellness Manager, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Wellness Manager at Busey starting from January 2022.

Before joining Busey, Sara worked as a Wellness Coordinator at Parkland College starting from August 2015. Prior to that, they worked independently as a Certified Personal Trainer and held the positions of NSCA-certified Personal Trainer and had a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois. Sara also worked as a Mental Health Advisor/Technician/Teacher at a Mental Health and Drug Addiction Rehabilitation center from March 2014 to April 2016.

Additionally, Sara served as the Strength and Conditioning Director at The Fitness Center from November 2013 to June 2014, and as an Athletic Center Supervisor at Parkland College from August 2012 to June 2013.

Sara Maxwell obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois-Springfield from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
