Al Johnson

Al Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Al has held various roles in different companies, primarily in the banking and finance industry. Al began their career as an Assistant Manager at ITT in 1988 and transitioned to the banking sector in 1997. Throughout their career, they have held positions such as Vice President, Assistant Vice President, and Consumer & Commercial Officer in multiple banks including Premier Banks and Peoples Bank of Commerce. Their responsibilities have included new business development, cross-selling bank products, managing client relationships, approving loans, and contributing to the opening of new branch locations. Notably, they have also specialized in government-guaranteed lending programs and has experience in loan structuring and financing solutions for small businesses. Al Johnson currently serves as the VP of Business Development at Byline Bank, where they focus on small business capital.

Al Johnson received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Marketing from Mankato State University. This education was completed between the years of 1983 and 1987. Additionally, Al Johnson attended Risk Management Association (RMA) Commercial Lending program, but the exact start year was not provided. However, this program ended in 1998.
