Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson joined Bytemark in December 2019 with a vision for making shared mobility through mass transit more accessible, enjoyable, and easier to pay for. He quickly proved a valuable addition to the team. Brian is passionate about how people move and how they can use tools and better infrastructure to improve navigability and safety in the communities.

He pursues goals with focus and discipline. His strategic planning and leadership skills help him connect with people inside and outside of Bytemark. He strikes up conversations with everyone and excels at communicating complex concepts in simple terms to make them more relatable.

A proud University of Oregon graduate, Brian founded a company in 2003 to help Portland, Oregon, property owners manage and control their parking assets. He later sold it to a large regional parking operating and took a position with Validated, another small start-up that was purchased by a Daimler AG-backed company in 2019.
