Gautam Lahiri, PMP, CSM

Gautam Lahiri has extensive work experience spanning over three decades in various roles and industries.

From 2018 to present, Gautam has been the Vice President of Project Management and Practice leader at C-Zentrix. Prior to this, Gautam worked at IBM Global Services as a Project Manager from 2008 to 2018. During their time at IBM, they were responsible for developing and managing projects using Agile methodologies for the software industry worldwide, as well as providing learning solutions to software professionals across different regions.

Before joining IBM, Gautam worked at Adayana as the Vertical Head of the Automotive Division from 2006 to 2008. In this role, they managed projects, developed learning designs for the automotive industry, and traveled extensively to meet with clients.

Gautam's earlier experiences include roles at Concentrix as the Manager of Solutions Quality Assurance from 2004 to 2006, DigitalThink, Inc. as the Manager of Content Quality Assurance from 2002 to 2004, and TCT Technical Training Pvt. Ltd as the Lead Instructional Designer from 1998 to 2002.

Gautam also worked at Elastolan Technical Services India Pvt. Ltd. as the Manager of the Design Automation Division from 1995 to 1998. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Consultant in Computer Aided Design and 3D modeling for various companies.

Gautam began their career at Apollo Duncans Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. as an EDP Officer CAD/CAM in the IT Department from 1993 to 1994, and later worked at Resolution InterCADD as an Assistant Center Head in the CAD Division from 1991 to 1993.

Throughout their career, Gautam has accumulated a diverse set of skills and experience in project management, learning design, automotive industry expertise, and CAD/CAM. Gautam holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

Gautam Lahiri has a diverse and extensive education history. Gautam obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) from the University of Annamalai in Chennai, India, from 1993 to 1995. The focus of their studies during this period was in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta, where they studied from 1985 to 1988.

During their earlier years of education, Gautam attended National High School (Boys) from 1983 to 1985 to complete their Class 12 Finals. Gautam then went on to study at Patha Bhavan in Kolkata, where they obtained their Class 10 Finals from 1977 to 1983. Gautam's educational journey began in New Delhi at Junior School - Cambridge Public School, and later they pursued their primary education at Patha Bhavan in Calcutta. These primary school years spanned from 1972 to 1975, with a focus on Geography.

In addition to their extensive education background, Gautam Lahiri has also obtained several certifications. In 2005, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Ethical Hacking: Overview and Cybersecurity Awareness: Building Your Cybersecurity Vocabulary from LinkedIn. In the same year, they also achieved the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) designation from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in 2018, Gautam completed the Sales Performance Measurement and Reporting course offered by LinkedIn.
