Yarin Cohen

Yarin Cohen has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as an Algorithm Developer Team Leader at the Israel Defense Forces from 2015 to 2021. In this role, they delivered operational real-time systems, providing data-driven generic algorithms to replace man-operated functions and examination. Yarin also designed a large-scale real-time algorithmic system from scratch, considering complicated operational requirements. Additionally, they were involved in algorithm development in the fields of machine learning, computer vision and signal analysis.

From 2021 to 2022, Yarin Cohen worked as a Senior Algorithm Developer at FinityX, where they designed, implemented and deployed original neural network architectures as well as unique loss functions for a sophisticated end-to-end solution. Yarin also conducted R&D of architectures based on LSTM, Attention and Graph Convolutional networks, and was involved in the development of a generic infrastructure used to train and build custom and modular models on demand.

Currently, Yarin Cohen is a Senior Algorithm Developer at C2i Genomics.

Yarin Cohen attended Bar-Ilan University from 2012 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Applied Mathematics.
