Jérôme Théraulaz

Jérôme Théraulaz has extensive work experience in various roles and responsibilities. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Scientific Collaborator at the University of Applied Sciences of Fribourg. From 2007 to 2011, they served as an Engineer HES in Computer Sciences at Infoteam, where they implemented server applications, desktop applications, and communication systems.

In 2011, Théraulaz joined Meggitt Sensing Systems as a Project Manager. During their time there, they successfully completed assigned projects, scheduled activities, controlled costs, and led cross-functional teams.

In 2016, Théraulaz joined ELCA Informatique SA / ELCA Informatik AG as the Head of Engineering Factory & Project Manager. In this role, they led a large project, managed a team, and oversaw the development of software products using Agile methodology.

In 2019, Théraulaz moved to GFT Group, where they held various roles, including Program Manager, Lead of professionals, and Project Manager. Jérôme was responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects.

Currently, Théraulaz is the Director of Business and Software Solutions at CAA-Québec, a position they started in 2022.

Jérôme Théraulaz has a diverse education history, with a focus on business administration, management, and computer sciences. Jérôme obtained their Executive-MBA in Integrated Management from HEG Fribourg in 2013, with a specialization in business administration and management. In 2012, they attended the University of Vermont for a module called "Managing in a Global Economy" as part of their business administration and management studies.

In 2005, Jérôme completed their diploma work of Engineer HES curriculum in computer sciences at The University of New Mexico. Prior to that, they earned their Engineer HES degree in computer sciences from the University of Applied Sciences of Fribourg from 2002 to 2005.

Jérôme's educational journey started in 1998 when they pursued a Computer Scientist (CFC) degree at the Vocational School Technology and Art Fribourg. During this time, they also obtained a Technical vocational baccalaureate in General Studies from the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Jérôme Théraulaz has also acquired several certifications throughout their career. Jérôme obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Lean Portfolio Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021. In May 2016, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. In October 2015, they achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute. Lastly, in August 2011, they obtained the MCPD - Enterprise Application Developer 3.5 certification from Microsoft.
