David Preston

David Preston has a diverse work experience spanning both military and civilian sectors. David currently serves as a Program Analyst at CALIBRE Systems, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, they worked as a Transitioning Army Officer in the US Army from November 2022 to February 2023. In 2022, David participated in the Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program at LinQuest, where they assisted in subcontract development and administration. Prior to that, they had a long and varied military career, serving as a Military Faculty Instructor, Infantry Battalion Commander, Executive Assistant, Talent Manager, Battalion Operations Officer, and Human Resources Specialist in the US Army. These roles involved leadership, training, operations management, personnel administration, and strategic planning.

David Preston attended The Citadel from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. In 2011 to 2012, they completed a program at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. David also obtained a Top Secret Clearance (TS-SCI) from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in June 2017.
