Silvia Zapiain

Silvia Zapain Alvarez is an experienced educator with over three decades in the field, currently serving as an ELA Instructional Coach and Art Teacher at Bryan ISD since June 2018. Silvia has held various teaching roles, including Bilingual Teacher and ESL freelance writer, contributing to Cambridge University Press and other educational institutions. A certified Bilingual/Dual Language educator, Silvia has taught multiple grade levels and supervised the Gifted and Talented department at the American Institute of Monterrey. Silvia's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Art History, a BACL in Bilingual Education, and certifications in Texas Reading Academy and ESL. Additionally, Silvia has experience in art education seminars and curriculum development for various educational programs.
