Lukas Heidemann

Research Scientist at Cambridge Quantum Computing

Lukas Heidemann has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Student Tutor role at The University of Bonn in 2013. Lukas then held the same role at the same university in 2016. In the same year, they became a Software Engineer at Fraunhofer FHR. In 2018, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Birmingham and a Software Engineer at Fraunhofer FHR. In 2020, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Oxford. Most recently, in 2021, they were a Research Scientist and Software Engineering Intern at Cambridge Quantum.

Lukas Heidemann began their educational journey in 2012, when they attended the University of Bonn and earned a Bachelor of Science in both Computer Science and Mathematics. Lukas then continued their studies at the University of Bonn, completing a Master of Science in Mathematics in 2015. In 2016, they returned to the University of Oxford to obtain a Master of Science in Computer Science and then stayed at the University of Oxford to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
