Kimberly Ruby, CMM, FICP

Kimberly Ruby, CMM, FICP has extensive experience in marketing, events, and meeting management. Kimberly currently works at Canada Life Reinsurance, where they handle marketing projects and event management. Kimberly has been with the company since 2018. Kimberly is also a member of Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP), starting in 2020. Prior to their current role, they were the Managing Director of RubyMeetings from 2009 to 2018, where they managed various types of meetings and events, ensuring client satisfaction. Kimberly also worked as a Customer Engagement Specialist at Boeing in 2017 and as a Consultant Meeting Planner at the Law School Admission Council in the same year. Before that, they were the Director of FRESH GROUND Coffee House from 2009 to 2017. Kimberly also served as a Consultant for Penn Mutual from 2016 to 2017, managing meetings and events. In addition, they worked as the Special Projects and Events Coordinator at Biblical Seminary from 2015 to 2016, providing strategic event management. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Meetings and Events at Day & Zimmermann from 2005 to 2009, overseeing the company's meetings and events department and executing high-end meetings and events. Kimberly started their career as a Meeting Manager at Professional Meeting Planners Network from 2002 to 2009.

Kimberly Ruby, CMM, FICP has a diverse education history. In terms of formal education, they attended Bucks County Community College from 1976 to 1978, where they focused on music. Kimberly also obtained a certificate in Meeting Management from Meeting Professionals International (MPI), specializing in strategic meeting management. Additionally, they acquired a Pandemic Compliance Advisor for Meeting and Event Professionals Certificate from Health Education Services.

In terms of certifications, Kimberly obtained a Global Certification in Meeting Management from MPI in April 2009. Furthermore, they have attended training programs, including one at the Jack Phillips - ROI Institute, where they studied Return on Investment.
