Lori McCarthy

Lori McCarthy has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Lori served as the Director of Human Resources at the Canadian Labour Congress - Congrès du travail du Canada from 2015. Prior to that, they worked at the Canadian Co-operative Association as a Senior HR Officer and Corporate Secretary from 2008 to 2015. Before that, they held the positions of Executive Director (Interim) and Consultation Officer (Research) at the Learning Disabilities Association of PEI from 2006 to 2008.

Lori McCarthy received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island, graduating in 2001. In 2002, they pursued further education at Centennial College, where they obtained a Law Clerk Diploma, completing their studies in 2004. After some time, Lori returned to their studies in 2012, this time at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they pursued part-time online courses in Human Resources until 2014.
