Alishah Merchant

Alishah Merchant is the Founder and CEO of Rebalance Sports Medicine, where high-quality, evidence-based patient care is provided in a dynamic private practice setting since August 2013. In addition, Alishah has served as a Clinical Lab Facilitator at the University of Toronto since January 2010, leading advanced orthopaedic clinical lab sessions, and as a Teaching Assistant for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Orthopaedic Division, since January 2011, assisting postgraduate students in manual therapy. Furthermore, Alishah has been a Clinical Mentor for the Masters of Manipulative Therapy Stream at the University of Western Ontario since September 2011, guiding students through practical and theoretical training. Previous experience includes working as a Registered Physiotherapist at Athlete's Care from September 2007 to August 2013, providing physiotherapy services for musculoskeletal conditions and mentoring staff. Alishah's educational background includes a Masters of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy from Western University and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Western University.
