George Hayes

George Hayes is an experienced professional in advocacy and global partnerships, currently serving as the Global Partnerships & Advocacy Manager at Cancer Research UK since May 2022. Previously, George held several key roles at Marie Stopes International from January 2012 to December 2020, including Regional Advocacy Advisor, Senior Impact Advisor, Impact Advisor, Impact Analyst, and Grants Officer, where responsibilities included leading health financing and universal health coverage advocacy efforts, providing technical assistance, and contributing to donor proposals. Additional experience includes a Policy Intern position at Amnesty International UK, where George drafted parliamentary briefings and contributed to government consultations, as well as roles at EveryChild and a prior internship at Amnesty International UK focused on community fundraising. George holds an MA in Human Rights from UCL and a BA in History from the University of Nottingham.
